My Go-To Skincare Products

For as long as I can remember, I’ve had a consistent skincare regime. I’ve never (well maybe once or twice, but that’s it, HONEST) gone to bed with my makeup on. No matter how tired (or tipsy!) I am, I never skip my nightly skincare process. My night skin process changes during the week as I rotate in retinols and serums, but my day routine doesn’t really change. I’ve tried every price range of products and am always experimenting with new ones as well. When we moved to Sweden, I had to revamp most of my products because I couldn’t easily get them here. The products I’m sharing today are what I’m currently loving and using regularly. They are always in my rotation. Most I can find easily, but the Versed products I have to order from Revolve (oh how I miss you Target!). So let’s break down my day routine (with the exception of the oil, I just had to share because it’s so good):

Versed Day Dissolve Cleansing Balm - I LOVE this balm. It easily takes off all traces of your makeup and feels so good on the skin. I follow it up with a second cleanse to make sure my skin is really clean.

CeraVe Hydrating Foaming Oil Cleanser - I found this in the pharmacy here and it’s true what they say about European Pharmacies - you can find great products inexpensively (i’m not sure this exact product is available in the US so I linked the next best thing). I’m not a fan of milk cleansers, but when you have dry skin like me, that’s usually the only option. This foaming oil cleanser cleans really well but doesn’t make my skin feel stripped.

Pixi Glow Tonic - I’ve been using this for YEARS. It’s the best toner around and also doesn’t make my skin feel stripped of all it’s moisture. I also love the smell.

Filorga Time Filler Eyes 5XP - I received a sample of face cream from this line and loved it so much I had to see what other products they carried. I LOVE this eye cream. I swear it’s helped with crows feet and wrinkles around my eyes. I use it day and night. I just recently started using their optim eyes product for day and I’ll report back if I love it as much. I also use the Time Filler Night Cream and it’s also just so dang good.

Versed Auto Save Advanced Restoring Serum - I really love the whole Versed line and have used it since it hit the market years ago. I find it works just as good as the expensive lines, but you can get it at Target. This serum is full of antioxidants to help your skin look brighter, firmer, and more even.

Kiehl’s Powerful Strength Vitamin C Serum - A great serum that help with fine lines and wrinkles, it also makes my skins texture feel so soft.

Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Concentrate Face Oil - Another product I found via a sample. I use this oil at night as the last step in my process. It smells like lavender (which is so good for sleep) and helps replenish my skin overnight. I honestly feel like my skin looks better on the mornings after using.

Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Cream - This is my absolute go to face cream. I slather it on day and night. It absorbs easy, doesn’t feel greasy, and keeps my dry skin super hydrated and dewy all day long.

Versed Guards Up Mineral Sunscreen - I just started using this (I have used Elta MD for years and love that too, but can’t easily find) and really like it. It’s light weight and has a subtle not really there tint that seems to disappear into your skin nicely.

Have you used any of these? Do you have a product you can’t live without? Do tell.. I’m always looking to try new products.
