What I Read in November 2025
Two books this month, both coming-of-age stories that pulled me in for completely different reasons. One set inside a fashion magazine, one inside a college friendship — and yes, one even made me cry.
What I Read in October 2025
October’s lineup had a little bit of everything — love, ambition, mystery, and reinvention. From Cleopatra and Frankenstein’s raw portrayal of modern relationships to influencer drama in Everyone Is Lying to You, and the unapologetic world of Gwyneth: The Biography — these were the books that kept me hooked this month.
What I Read in September 2025
This month I got back into my routine of reading and the books I read will stick with me: The Compound by Aisling Rawle, The Names by Florence Knapp, and Sunny Side Up by Katie Sturino. Each one was completely different in tone and theme, but all three pulled me in and kept me turning pages. From dystopian survival games to multi-threaded family sagas to a witty story of self-discovery, these books made for a memorable month of reading.
What I Read in August 2025
This August, I finally read Light from Uncommon Stars by Ryka Aoki—a genre-bending, heart-filled story about music, donuts, aliens, and the beauty of acceptance.
What I Read in July 2025
In this month’s reading recap, I reached for comfort reads and they didn’t disappoint. Taylor Jenkins Reid’s Atmosphere had me crying over astronauts, and Emily Henry’s Great Big Beautiful Life gave me love, mystery, and everything in between.
What I Read in June 2025
After a puppy-induced reading slump in May, I found my rhythm again in June with four very different but equally engaging books—The Book Club for Troublesome Women, The Familiar, Food Person, and The Husbands. From feminist fiction to magical realism, this list had a bit of everything. Read on for full reviews and thoughts on what stood out
What I Read in April 2025
April was a different kind of reading month! Between prepping for our new puppy and tackling a tough literary novel, my stack looked a little unusual. See which books I finished—and which one I couldn’t.
What I Read in March 2025
March books were a delightful mix: strong, independent witches, family mysteries, first loves, and heartfelt stories—even featuring an unforgettable dog. Here's what I read (and loved!) this month.
What I Read in February 2025
February’s books took me through different eras, continents, and gripping narratives. These stories kept me turning pages—read on for my full reviews!
